Abstract
Perennial rice,characterized by its"one planting,two or more harvests",has become a crucial component of sustainable agriculture.Significant progress has been made in understanding the physiological and ecological mechanisms and regulation pathways of perennial rice.This study aims to systematically review the current status,yield and quality formation characteristics,physiological and ecological characteristics,and molecular mechanisms of perennial rice,with an in-depth discussion on its response mechanisms to stress conditions.Finally,we summarize the cultivation patterns and regulation strategies of perennial rice,providing theoretical foundations and practical guidance for expanding its planting regions and enhancing the diversity of rice germplasm resources.关键词
