Advances in Cytokine Expression Changes Induced by African Swine Fever Virus Infection in Pigs
摘要
Abstract
African swine fever(ASF)is an acute,highly fatal infectious disease caused by African swine fever virus(ASFV),which has inflicted substantial economic losses on the global pig industry.Due to the lack of safe and effective vaccines or treatments currently available on the market,in-depth investigation into the pathogenesis and host immune responses of ASF is crucial for its control and prevention.Cytokines,as key mediators of immune regulation,undergo dynamic changes that not only reflect the immune status of the host but also provide vital clues for understanding the interaction mechanisms between the virus and the host immune system.This review summarizes recent research progress on cytokine expression patterns following ASFV infection in pigs and systematically analyzes the relationship between ASFV infection and cytokine alterations.The aim is to offer new insights and theoretical foundations for further exploration of the immune response mechanisms in pigs infected with ASFV.关键词
