Advances in the Effects of IGF2 and H19 Expression and Imprinting Patterns on Mammalian Placental Development

Abstract
Abnormal placental development or functional defect is one of important causes of early pregnancy failure in animals,which brings great economic loss to stockbreeding.However,the molecular mechanism is still unclear.Deeply revealing the mechanisms of early placenta formation and functional regulation in mammal is extremely important to ensure the success rate of pregnancy.As crucial imprinted genes,IGF2 and H19 play pivotal roles in the embryonic and placental development of mammals.High expression level of IGF2 is closely associated with rapid placental growth and differentiation,while H19 affects placental development by regulating the proliferation and differentiation of trophoblast cells.In addition,the interaction between IGF2 and H19,as well as their synergistic regulation with other factors,are also important factors affecting placental development.This article provides a detailed overview of the specific mechanisms of IGF2 and H19 during placental development in mammals,aiming to provide research ideas for scientifically and effectively predicting diseases related to placental maldevelopment in mammals,and thereby offering a theoretical reference for animal reproduction regulation and breeding.关键词
