Abstract
Objective To explore the method and efficacy of buried suture transconjunctival orbital fat release surgery for repairing lower eyelid bags combined with groove deformities.Methods Forty-six patients with lower eyelid bags combined with lacrimal groove deformities who visited the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Department of Zhangzhou City Hospital from March 2023 to February 2025 were included.All patients underwent buried suture transconjunctival orbital fat release surgery.Preoperative and postoperative 6-month Tear Trough Rating Scale(TTRS)scores were compared.Additionally,postoperative patient satisfaction self-assessment forms were used to comprehensively analyze the surgical efficacy.Postoperative follow-ups were conducted to record relevant complications.Results All surgical incisions in the 46 patients healed in one stage without adverse reactions such as infection,hematoma formation,lower eyelid entropion,or lower eyelid ectropion.At 6 months postoperatively,the overall satisfaction rate was 93.5%(43/46).Three patients had unsatisfactory results due to insufficient fat volume,which could not correct the lacrimal groove deformity.However,their satisfaction levels improved after autologous fat transplantation.The TTRS scores of the 46 patients at 6 months postoperatively were better than those before surgery,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.001).Conclusions Buried suture transconjunctival orbital fat release surgery for repairing lower eyelid bags combined with groove deformities has obvious surgical effects and minimal trauma,making it worthy of clinical application and promotion.关键词
