Advances in the Study of Enhancers on Animal Evolution
摘要
Abstract
Gene mutation is the basis of animal evolution,and the report that non-coding genes play an important role in evolution can be traced back to the 1970s,and the development of life sciences has also confirmed this view.Enhancers,a kind of widespread non-coding DNA cis-acting elements that directly regulate gene transcription,are considered crucial factor in animal evolution,but the complex mechanism of enhancers and the difficulty in detecting enhancers have led to the slow progress in early research.In recent years,the development of biotechnology has promoted the study of enhancers,and the role of enhancers in animal evolution has also garnered attention.In this paper,we review the mechanism of enhancers and summarize the effects of enhancers on animal evolution,with a view to providing reference for the systematic study of enhancers in animal evolution.关键词
