Prevention and Control of Common Mycotoxins in Animal Husbandry and Mitigation Strategies for Poisoned Livestock and Poultry
摘要
Abstract
Mycotoxins are the secondary toxic metabolites produced by molds,which are widely present in grains and diets,resulting in decreased quality and poor taste of diets.They not only affect the growth and production performance of livestock and poultry,but also pose a serious threat to animal and human health.Aflatoxin B1,zearalenone,deoxynivalenol and fumonisin are the most common mycotoxins,which usually co-exist in the feed and feed raw materials.Accidental ingestion of multiple mycotoxin-contaminated feedstuffs is more likely to lead to disease and even death of livestock and poultry.To protect the health of livestock and poultry,it is urgent to implement the whole industry chain preventive and control of mycotoxins in the livestock industry.This paper outlines mycotoxin prevention and control measures in feed and its raw materials as well as the mitigation strategies for poisoned livestock and poultry,aiming to promote the healthy development of animal husbandry.关键词
