Relationship between Serum BNP and cTnI Levels and Myocardial Remodeling in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease and Heart Failure

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the correlation between the changes in serum brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)and cardiac troponin I(cTnI)levels and myocardial remodeling in patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure.Method:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 150 patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure admitted to Xinyu People's Hospital from March 2022 to October 2024.According to the left ventricular mass index(LVMI)and left atrial volume index(LAVI)calculated by echocardiography,the patients were divided into the myocardial remodeling group(45 cases)and the non-myocardial remodeling group(105 cases).Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to identify the independent influencing factors;and ROC curve was drawn to evaluate the predictive value of BNP and cTnI on myocardial remodeling in patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure.Result:The univariate analysis results showed that the BNP,cTnI in the myocardial remodeling group were higher than those in the non-myocardial remodeling group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that BNP,cTnI were all risk factors affecting myocardial remodeling in patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure(P<0.05).The AUC of BNP and cTnI for predicting myocardial remodeling were 0.743[95%CI(0.654,0.832)](P<0.001)and 0.637[95%CI(0.537,0.737)](P=0.008),respectively.Conclusion:BNP and cTnI are closely related to myocardial remodeling in patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure and can be used as important biomarkers for evaluating myocardial remodeling.关键词
