Abstract
This article presents a rare case of type Ⅱ cryoglobulinemia secondary to mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue(MALT)lymphoma.The patient exhibited recurrent pharyngeal masses,skin purpura,and edema.The diagnosis of MALT lymphoma,involving the nasopharynx,oropharynx and bone marrow,was confirmed through a biopsy of the nasopharyngeal mass,supplemented by histo-pathological and immunohistochemical analysises.Type Ⅱ cryoglobulinemia was subsequently diagnosed using immunofixation electro-phoresis.Following eight cycles of R-CHOP chemotherapy and Entecavir antiviral therapy,the patient achieved symptomatic remis-sion.This report investigates the association between MALT lymphoma and cryoglobulinemia,analyzing the etiology,diagnosis,and treatment of cryoglobulinemia.The case underscores the importance of considering cryoglobulinemia in patients with multi-organ involvement.Even when mixed cryoglobulinemia is diagnosed,it is imperative to screen for underlying lymphoma,particularly marginal zone B-cell lymphoma,to inform personalized therapeutic strategies.关键词
