"醒脑开窍"针刺法对腰椎间盘突出症伴坐骨神经痛患者疼痛及腰椎功能的影响
Effect of"Xingnao Kaiqiao"Acupuncture Method on Pain and Lumbar Function in Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation Accompanied by Sciatica

Abstract
Objective:To explore the application effect of the"Xingnao Kaiqiao"acupuncture method in patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH)accompanied by sciatica.Method:A total of 100 patients with LDH accompanied by sciatica who were treated in the Third People's Hospital of Pingxiang from January 2022 to December 2024 were included and divided into two groups by random number table method.The control group(n=50)was treated with conventional acupuncture,while the observation group(n=50)was treated with the"Xingnao Kaiqiao"acupuncture method.Both groups were treated continuously for 5 d.The therapeutic effects,pain degrees,lumbar function and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After 5 d of treatment,the scores of the lumbar vertebra Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)in both groups increased,and the increases were more significant in the observation group,the VAS,Oswestry disability index(ODI)scores,and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores all decreased,and the decreases were more significant in the observation group(P<0.05).There were no obvious adverse reactions in both groups.Conclusion:Compared with conventional acupuncture treatment,the"Xingnao Kaiqiao"acupuncture method can effectively inhibit the inflammatory response in patients with LDH accompanied by sciatica,reduce the levels of pain factors,relieve pain and improve lumbar function.It can provide a safe treatment method for the clinical treatment of patients with LDH accompanied by sciatica.关键词
