Abstract
Objective:To assess the effectiveness of the Attitude-Definition-Open Thinking-Planning-Implementation(ADOPT)problem-solving model nursing intervention applied to postoperative patients with diabetes mellitus(DM)with prostate hyperplasia(BPH).Method:80 postoperative patients with DM with BPH admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanhua University from January 2023 to February 2024 were selected as the study subjects,and were divided into two groups based on the randomized table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group used conventional nursing intervention,and the observation group added ADOPT problem-solving model nursing intervention.Postoperative complications,blood glucose[fasting blood glucose(FBG),2 h postprandial glucose(2 hPG)],International Prostate Symptom Scale(IPSS),recovery-related time,Self-assessment Scale for Anxiety(SAS)and Depression(SDS),Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia Patient's Quality of Life Scale(BPHQLS),and level of satisfaction were evaluated between groups.Result:After care,the observation group had fewer postoperative complications than the control group,FBG,2hPG,IPSS,SAS,SDS were lower than the control group,rehabilitation-related time was shorter than that of the control group,and BPHQLS and satisfaction level were higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of ADOPT problem-solving model nursing intervention for postoperative patients with DM with BPH can reduce postoperative complications,lower blood glucose,alleviate prostate symptoms,accelerate the recovery process,alleviate anxiety and depression,improve the quality of life,and build a harmonious nurse-patient relationship.关键词
