摘要

Abstract

Single-cell RNA sequencing is a powerful technology that enables high-resolution analysis of gene transcription at the sin-gle-cell level.By capturing cellular landscapes,transcriptional profiles,developmental trajectories,and cellular heterogeneity,the technology has become a transformative tool in life science research.It is widely applied in gene expression and regulation studies,precise cell-type identification,tissue and organ development,and human disease research.Beyond biomedical applications,it can offer insights into reproductive and growth performance,as well as disease mechanisms.This review provides a comprehensive overview of scRNA-Seq,including its principles,development,recent advancements,and applications in livestock and poultry re-search.Additionally,we discuss future directions and potential applications to guide further research and technological advance-ments in livestock and poultry research.
