摘要

Abstract

This experiment provided the relationship between body weight and the body size indicators.Body weight and 8 body size indicators of 6 month old Southdown × Hu(NH)sheep were measured,and SPSS 19.0 software was used to carry out correlation analysis,clustering and principal component analysis.The results showed that the variation amplitudes of body weight(y)and chest width(x5)of NH sheep are relatively large,and the measured values are relatively discrete,with greater potential for selection and improvement.The body weight(y)was highly or significantly correlated with the eight body size indexes.The optimal regression e-quation between body weight(y)and body size in NH sheep was y=-56.680+0.801x5+0.381x1+0.257x2+0.277x3(R=0.826,P<0.05),and the normalized form of it was y=0.340x5+0.233x1+0.240x2+0.256x3(F=22.558,P<0.01).The cluster analysis of the body weight(y)and body size indicators ofNH sheep(D=13)was basically consistent with the results of principal components.All indicators were divided into 4 relatively independent principal components,and the cumulative contribution rates of NH sheep was 84.757%,of which the first contribution rate was 51.372%,which could be divided into chest factor,length factor,width factor and height factor.In the process of meat sheep breeding,we should pay attention to the selection the chest depth,chest width and chest circum-ference in order to increase the weight of NH sheep,so as to improve the breeding efficiency.
