Abstract
The Yongshun Crested Duck is a rare local germplasm resource formed through long-term natural and artificial selection.This dual-purpose breed,valued for both meat and egg production as well as ornamental qualities.This paper elaborates on the breed characteristics,current status of resource conservation,and industrial development of the Yongshun Crested Duck.While cer-tain achievements have been made in its conservation,and the industry development possesses a foundation in policy support,eco-logical advantages,and cultural heritage with effective brand building and promotion,challenges remain including breed degenera-tion,inadequate technical support,and intense market competition.By implementing measures such as enhancing resource conser-vation,strengthening technical support,and expanding market presence,a virtuous cycle between conservation and industrial devel-opment can be achieved,thereby promoting increased income for farmers and boosting the county's economic growth.关键词
