摘要

Abstract

In order to investigate the densification mechanism of polymer bonded explosive(PBX)during pressing,in the process of simulating pressing at the particle scale,multi-particle finite element method(MPFEM)was used to ana-lyze the effects of the differences in bulk density,temperature,and particle size on the micro mechanical behavior.The results show that the particle slip of the low bulk density system is severe,the force chain barrier obstructing particle move-ment is easy to form,and the stress concentration is serious and the average stress is increased.High temperature could reduce the total strain energy of the system,increase the equivalent plastic,elastic,and thermal strain,and alleviate stress concentration.In the system of particle size difference,the slip degree and stress deformation of small particles are signifi-cantly higher than those of large particles,and the contact of large particles forms a force chain barrier and generates an anti-deformation protection area.MPFEM can effectively capture particle motion and deformation characteristics,and provide theoretical basis for optimizing PBX pressing process.
