马粪海胆多糖对B16和S180肿瘤的抑制作用
Effects of the Hemicentrotus pulcherrimus polysaccharide in B16 and S180 tumors

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the anti-tumor effect of Hemicentrotus pulcherrimus polysaccharide(HPP-1)in vivo.Methods Tumor-bearing models were established by subcutaneously implanting S180 tumor cells and B16 melanoma cells,re-spectively.Mice were randomly divided into the model group(physiological saline),the cyclophosphamide group(CTX,20 mg/(kg·d)),the low dose group(HPP-1,20 mg/(kg·d)),the middle dose group(HPP-1,40 mg/(kg·d)),the high dose group(HPP-1,80 mg/(kg·d)),and the combined administration group(CTX 20 mg/(kg·d)and HPP-1 80 mg/(kg·d)).The mice were injected intraperitoneally for 12 consecutive days.The body weights of mice and the weights of tumor,spleen and thymus were recorded.The tumor inhibition rate,the spleen index and the thymus index were calculated.The expres-sion levels of IL-2 and TNF-α in the serum of mice were detected by the ELISA method.Results Low,medium,and high doses of polysaccharide HPP-1 all significantly inhibited B16 melanoma,with the inhibitory effect being dose-dependent.The tumor in-hibition rates were 19.28％,29.52％,and 47.60％,respectively.When combined with CTX,the tumor inhibition rate was 67.47％.High-dose HPP-1 also showed significant inhibitory effects on S180 sarcoma,with a tumor inhibition rate of 55.49％.Compared with the CTX group,the spleen and thymus indices of mice in the low,medium,and high dose HPP-1 groups were sig-nificantly increased(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).HPP-1 significantly increased the levels of IL-2 and TNF-α in the serum of B16 mela-noma-bearing mice(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01),as well as the level of IL-2 in the serum of S180 sarcoma-bearing mice(P＜0.01).Conclusion HPP-1 has a significant tumor inhibitory effect,which may be related to the regulation of immune system function.关键词
