Abstract

The liquid metal fast reactor,as one of the most promising reactor types of the fourth-generation reac-tor,has received widespread attention.From an operational and safety point of view,accurate measurement of liquid metal flow is critical.Many contries around the world have carried out research on the flowmeter based on the principle of electromagnetic induction.The high-temperature real flow calibration of the flowmeter is re-lated to measurement accuracy and has become an important link in the application.Regarding the independ-ently developed liquid metal electromagnetic flowmeter,a digital twin model of liquid metal electromagnetic flowmeter that is suitable for on-site use is developed to predict the performance of the flowmeter and reduce the cost of high-temperature calibration.The three-dimensional finite element modeling method is used to build flowmeter model and simulate output signal.The magnetic field distribution,flow velocity distribution,and changes in the output signal under different flow rates inside the measurement tube are analyzed.A room tem-perature GaLnSn circuit is built,and the volumetric method is used for testing experiments.Through compara-tive experiments with real flow calibration,the effectiveness and calibration accuracy of the method are veri-fied,providing a foundation for future applications in high-temperature environments.
