Geological Characteristics and Prospecting Model of the Shilei Quartz-Vein-Type Tungsten-Tin Deposit in Southern Jiangxi Province

Abstract
The Xihuashan-Piaotang-Tianmenshan-Zhangtiantang area is a crucial tungsten-tin polymetallic metallogenic sub-belt within the Nanling metallogenic belt,which is the origin of the"three-layer"Xihuashan-type and"five-layer"Piaotang-type tungsten-tin mineralization models.This work centers on the Shilei quartz vein-type tungsten-tin deposit in southern Jiangxi Province,which is situated north located of the Piaotang deposit.The research aims to reveal the mineralization patterns of the Shilei deposit and establish a prospecting model,which will provide theoretical guidance for deep and peripheral exploration in the deposit.A comprehensive approach combining systematic geological logging,zoning patterns,structural interpretation,and geochemical anomalies was adopted to determine the spatial distribution patterns of ore veins and the indication of element association anomalies in hidden ore bodies.The research results show that:(1)The spatial distribution of ore bodies in the Shilei tungsten-tin deposit is controlled by the combination of regional NWW-SEE-trending compressive stress and the uplifting stress of hidden rock masses.The two types of ore veins present an inverted"Y"shape in plane distribution.Among them,the EW-NEE-trending ore veins are arranged in a left-lateral en echelon pattern,the NW trending ore veins are arranged in a right-lateral en echelon pattern,and the east-west section reveals that the ore veins have the characteristic of plunging eastward.(2)There are hidden granite bodies and greisen-type tungsten-tin-lithium mineralization in the deep part of the mining area,and the shape and structure of the ore bodies conform to the zoning characteristics of the"five-floor building+basement"model.(3)Geochemical anomalies of elements such as W,Sn,Cu,Pb,and Zn can be used as effective direct or indirect prospecting indicators.Based on the above research results,an innovative integrated geological-geochemical prospecting model for the Shilei deposit was established.This model not only enriches the tungsten-tin prospecting theories in the Nanling area but also provides a reference for regional deep mineral resource exploration.关键词
