Abstract
Soil geochemical survey is extensively utilized in geological investigation and mineral exploration for metallic ore deposits.However,there were few reports on the application of large-scale soil geochemical survey in aged ore deposits.To explore effective technical methods for enhancing resource reserves in aged ore deposits,this study took the Shishan tungsten deposit in Jiangxi Province as the research subject.Due to the thick overburden cover and poor rock exposure in the deposit,the 1∶5000 soil geochemical survey method was adopted.This work primarily analyzed the principal ore-forming element tungsten(W)along with other eleven closely associated elements,including tin(Sn),molybdenum(Mo)and bismuth(Bi).Subsequently,mathematical statistics software was employed to conduct element correlation analysis and delineate single-element and multi-element anomalies.The research reveals that the delineated ZH-2 anomaly zone in this deposit exhibits pronounced three-lever concentration zoning,with high anomaly intensity and large scale,indicative of significant prospecting potential.Deep engineering verification confirms favorable prospecting results in this zone.Initially,the verification targeted quartz-vein type tungsten ore bodies,but failed to achieve favorable results.After repeated observations and comparative studies,the focus shifted to quartz veinlet-type tungsten ore bodies.Ultimately,twelve new quartz veinlet-type tungsten ore bodies have been discovered,marking a significant prospecting breakthrough.关键词
