Abstract

Objective Taking comprehensive pharmacy practice training course at Xuzhou Medical and Pharmaceutical Branch,Jiangsu Union Technical Institute as an example,this study focuses on the development,application,and effectiveness evaluation of practical course resources based on the five-dimensional integration model of"Post-Course-Competition-Certification-Reflection"(PCCCR).Methods The course resource development process was elaborated through in-depth analysis of job requirements,integrated design of course content,resource development,and teaching model reform.A quasi-experimental study was conducted among two parallel classes of students enrolled in 2020 in the pharmacy program to assess the impact of the new resources on learning outcomes.Results Students in the experimental group received instruction with PCCCR-integrated practical course resources,and outperformed the control group(traditional teaching methods)in final exam scores,average teaching quality ratings,vocational literacy assessments,vocational skill certification pass rates,and competition awards(P<0.05).Conclusions The PCCCR-integrated practical course resources can effectively enhance students'professional skills and comprehensive competence,improve teachers'instructional capabilities.This approach holds important value for cultivating high-quality technical talent in pharmacy education.
