Abstract

For achieving efficient electrochemical removal of Cr(Ⅵ) from aqueous solutions,MoS2/nFe3O4 composites were synthesized via liquid-phase reduction using MoS2 as the support.These composites were employed as particle electrodes,with graphite plates serving as the main electrodes,to conduct Cr(Ⅵ)removal experiments in an electrolytic cell.The effects of pH,DC power supply,applied voltage,electrolyte concentration,and initial solution concentration on Cr(Ⅵ) removal efficiency were systematically investigated.Results demonstrated that under optimal conditions,0.1 g MoS2/nFe3O4 dosage,20 mg·L-1 initial Cr(Ⅵ),10 V applied voltage,pH=3,and 0.88 g·L-1 NaCl,over 99.5%Cr(Ⅵ) removal was achieved within 120 minutes.The three-dimensional electrode system composed of MoS2/nFe3O4 particles and graphite plates exhibited exceptional Cr(Ⅵ) removal capability,enabling rapid and highly efficient pollutant elimination.This study provides a promising and effective solution for Cr(Ⅵ) remediation in contaminated water bodies.
