NLR与RDW联合振幅整合脑电图在新生儿窒息后脑损伤程度评估中的应用
Application of NLR and RDW combined with amplitude-integrated electroencephalography in evaluating the degree of brain injury following neonatal asphyxia

Abstract
Objective To observe the application value of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and red blood cell distribution width(RDW)combined with amplitude-integrated electroencephalography(aEEG)in evaluating the degree of brain injury following neonatal asphyxia.Methods A total of 338 neonates with asphyxia admitted to Baoji Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected.They were divided into brain injury group(n=146)and non-brain injury group(n=192).NLR,RDW and abnormal rate of aEEG were compared between the two groups and among the neonates with different degrees of brain injury.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were used to analyze the value of above indicators in evaluating the degree of brain injury following neonatal asphyxia.Results NLR,RDW and abnormal rate of aEEG in the brain injury group were higher than those in the non-brain injury group(P<0.05).There were 59(40.41%)neonates with mild brain injury,51(34.93%)neonates with moderate brain injury and 36(24.66%)neonates with severe brain injury.There were significant differences in NLR,RDW and abnormal rate of aEEG among neonates with different degrees of brain injury(P<0.05).NLR,RDW and abnormal rate of aEEG were the highest in the severe group,followed by the moderate group,and then the mild group(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that the degree of brain injury following neonatal asphyxia was positively correlated to NLR,RDW,and abnormal rate of aEEG(P<0.05).ROC curves indicted that the optimal cutoff values of NLR and RDW for evaluating moderate and more severe brain injury following neonatal asphyxia were 2.95 and 20.97%,respectively.The AUC and specificity of NLR and RDW combined with aEEG for evaluating moderate and more severe brain injury following neonatal asphyxia were 0.903 and 89.83%,respectively,which were higher than those of evaluation using a single indicator(P<0.05).Conclusion NLR,RDW and aEEG are closely related to the degree of brain injury following neonatal asphyxia.Combination of the three is of high value in evaluating the degree of brain injury following neonatal asphyxia.关键词
