Existence of Positive Solutions for a Class of First-Order Semi-positone Preiodic Boundary Value Problems

Abstract
The author considers the existence of positive solutions for the first-order semi-positone problem{—u′(t)+a(t)u(t)=λf(t,u(t)),t ∈(0,T),u(0)=u(T),where λ is a positive parameter,a∈C([0,T],R),f∈C([0,T]×[0,∞),R),f(t,0)<0,and limu→∞f(t,u)/u=∞.Based on the fixed point theorem of Krasnoselskill,the author proves that there exists λ*>0,such that the problem has at least one solution when 0<λ<λ*.关键词
