Abstract
To address the difficulty of fault feature extraction in gearbox vibration signals under complex noise interference,a denoising method integrating parameter-optimized variational mode decomposition(VMD)with an improved wavelet threshold is proposed.The rime optimization algorithm(RIME)is employed to adaptively optimize critical VMD parameters,enabling precise separation of signal frequency bands.A nonlinear mapping-based improved wavelet threshold function is introduced,coupled with Pearson correlation coefficients to identify noise-dominant modal components for targeted denoising while preserving critical fault signatures.Experiments are conducted using vibration signals from an HFDZ-330 rotating machinery fault testbed and Gaussian-simulated signals.Results demonstrate significant improvements in signal-to-noise ratio and mean square error compared to conventional VMD,empirical mode decomposition(EMD),and wavelet threshold methods.High-frequency noise floor in the 6~12 kHz band is notably suppressed,with distinct identification of gear pitting characteristic frequency((1500±25)Hz)and bearing inner race defect modulation sidebands((750±82)Hz),validating the algorithm's efficacy and applicability.关键词
