摘要
Abstract
In an era where urbanization is ubiquitous, architecture can no longer evade this essential challenge. From the perspective of urban architectural theory, this paper examines the buildings, architectural imagery, and critical discourse of Adolf Loos, distilling his attitude toward the modern metropolis and the architectural responses he proposed. The study identifies his core strategy as one of"cut to fit"—a dialectic of division and appropriateness. On this basis, the paper explores the necessity for architects to adopt a projective attitude toward time, city, and life, grounded in a broader understanding of modernity.By engaging with concrete cases and strategies, the research aims to offer context-sensitive and reality-based insights for contemporary architectural practice.关键词
