[Research purpose]Digital technology,with its advantages of efficiency,precision,and intelligence,aligns closely with the concept of"collaboration,participation and common interests"in people's cities.Against this backdrop,digital technology has become an important force driving the modernization of urban governance,which is crucial for improving the modern urban governance system.However,in the process of promoting the modernization of urban governance,digital technology faces practical challenges such as data barriers weakening collaborative efficiency,technological application leading to a lack of humanistic values,and institutional lag hindering long-term development.Therefore,exploring the practical pathways for digital technology-driven urban governance modernization is beneficial for resolving governance challenges,building an inclusive modern urban governance system,and enhancing the people's nature and resilience of governance.[Research method]Based on theoretical literature,it first clarifies the core dimensions of governance concepts,structures,and models that should be adhered to in the modernization of urban governance driven by digital technology.By combining the specific manifestations of digital technology in urban governance practice,it summarizes the practical challenges arising in the application of digital technology,analyzing the reasons for these challenges in depth,and subsequently proposing targeted governance frameworks and practical pathways.[Research conclusion]As an important force driving the modernization of urban governance,digital technology still encounters multiple dilemmas in practical applications,including data barriers,technological application distortions,and institutional lag.Therefore,it is necessary to be oriented towards people's needs,to strengthen the foundation of governance quality by dismantling data circulation barriers,optimizing digital service channels and enhancing talent supply,and standardizing institutional operation mechanisms to improve the digital governance ecosystem.This will promote the deep integration of digital technology and urban governance,effectively empowering the beautiful life of the people through digital technology.关键词
