Abstract

With the continuous expansion of Camellia oleifera cultivation in China,the shortage of fruit harvesting equipment has become a bottleneck,restricting the sustainable development of the C.oleifera industry.Currently,the technology for fully mechanized harvesting of C.oleifera fruit remains underdeveloped.Existing harvesting equipment faces challenges such as low harvesting efficiency,poor harvesting rates,and high bud damage rate.Therefore,it is crucial to develop harvesting equipment suited to China's planting methods and to accelerate the mechanization process for C.oleifera fruit harvesting.The development and promotion of suitable harvesting equipment are of great significance for the industry's future.Through research and analysis of domestic C.oleifera fruit harvesting equipment,the existing harvesting machinery was categorized based on the degree of mechanization into simple tools,semi-mechanized harvesting equipment,and fully mechanized harvesting systems.The applicable scope,working principle,as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each type of harvesting equipment,were discussed.Key technologies such as picking actuator technology,harvesting manipulator technology and harvesting power chassis technology were analyzed.Additionally,the research progress and challenges of intelligent harvesting technologies were evaluated,including difficulties posed by complex forest environments and the limitations of depth cameras in outdoor conditions.Considering the current situation of C.oleifera in China,characterized by large planting area,non-standard planting methods,challenging site working conditions,high labor intensity during harvesting and difficulties in mechanized harvesting,the problems related to mechanized harvesting of C.oleifera fruit were analyzed.The key issues restricting the mechanized harvesting of C.oleifera fruit include the low integration degree of forest machinery with current forestry planting methods,insufficient research on key technologies,and a lack of research on essential parameters.Development suggestions were proposed,such as conducting research on multi harvesting technology equipment adaptable to various working conditions,promoting efficient harvesting technologies that deeply integrate forest machinery with planting practices,strengthening research on theoretical and key technologies,and exploring intelligent frontier harvesting technologies.These efforts aim to lay the foundation for the development of C.oleifera fruit harvesting machinery.
