Abstract
Objective To develop a Knowledge,Attitude and Practice Scale for Early Biofilm Management of Chronic Wounds and to test its reliability and validity.Methods Based on the theoretical model of Knowledge,Attitude and Practice model,the first draft of the scale was formed through literature review,qualitative interview,expert consultation and pre-investigation.With convenience sam-pling,618 wound specialist nurses or international wound therapists were selected to test its reliability and validity.Results The Knowledge,Attitude and Practice Scale for Early Biofilm Management of Chronic Wounds consisted of 34 items in three dimensions:knowledge,attitude and practice.The cumulative variance contribution rate was 62.626%;content validity index of the scale 0.951 and that of each item ranged from 0.800 to 1.000.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model was well-fitted.Internal consistency Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.970,split-half reliability 0.901,and the intra-class correlation coefficient of test-retest reli-ability 0.957(95%CI:0.912～0.979,P<0.001).Conclusion The established scale has good reliability and validity,and it can be used for wound nurses to understand the current situation and influencing factors of early biofilm recognition and management.关键词
