摘要

Abstract

[Objectives]This study aimed to explore the effects of applying liquid organic fertilizer on the growth,stress resistance,and rhizosphere microbial community structure of corn and wheat under drought stress.[Methods]The experiment was conducted in the greenhouse at the Weigang Campus of Nanjing Agricultural University.Corn'Jingkenuo 2000'and wheat'Yannong 999'were used as experimental materials,with a total of 5 treatments:no fertilization treatment(Control),chemical fertilizer treatment(CF),liquid organic fertilizer treatment(OF),liquid bioorganic fertilizer treatment of Trichoderma guizhouense NJAU4742(OF_T),and liquid bioorganic fertilizer treatment of Bacillus velezensis SQR9(OF_B).After one month of normal irrigation management,the soil moisture content was adjusted.Subsequently,the experiment stopped normal watering and adjusted the soil moisture content to maintain it at around 10%for drought treatment.After 2 weeks of drought stress,the biomass,root growth indicators,and antioxidant indicators of each treatment were measured,and the changes in rhizosphere soil microbial community under different liquid fertilizers were analyzed.[Results]Under drought stress,the OF,OF_T,and OF_B increased the aboveground biomass accumulation of corn by 192.5%,162.5%and 127.5%,and the underground biomass accumulation by 158.2%,121.3%and 142.7%,compared to the CF.The root length also increased by 180.9%,4 306.2%and 8 025%in OF,OF_T and OF_B treatments,compared to the CF.In addition,under drought conditions,OF,OF_T and OF_B increased CAT enzyme activities by 124.5%,96.2%,and 148.2%compared to CF,72.4%,154.3%and 191.6%of SOD enzyme activities.Biomass accumulation,antioxidant enzyme activities of OF,OF_T and OF_B in wheat increased,and the root development was promoted compared to CF.Compared with CF,there were significant differences in the rhizosphere microbial community structure of OF,OF_T and OF_B.Compared with CF,OF,OF_T and OF_B were enriched in bacteria such as Bacillus,Flavobacterium and Bdellovibrio,as well as fungal genera such as Saitozyme,Trichoderma and Gongronella.In addition,the enriched microbial genera showed a positive correlation with the biomass accumulation and antioxidant enzymes of corn and wheat under drought stress.[Conclusions]The application of liquid organic fertilizer could effectively alleviate the damage caused by drought stress to corn and wheat,increase the relative abundance of various beneficial bacteria in the rhizosphere soil,and effectively enhance the drought resistance of plants.
