Abstract

The liner is an important component that affects the formation of damage elements of linear shaped charges.Optimizing its structure is an important way to improve the cutting performance of linear shaped charges.In this paper,numerical simulation method is used to study the effects of cone angle,wall thickness and truncated width of a truncated linear liner on the jet shape.Taking the three structural parameters of the liner as variables,cutting depth as evaluation criterion,and based on the principle of orthogonal experiments,a finite element model of a truncated linear liner shaped charge cutting a 45#steel target is established and simulated using LS-Dyna software.The results showed that,the jet formed by the truncated linear liner has the advantages of small velocity gradient and large head diameter,which can effectively cut steel materials.The cone angle of the liner is the most important factor affecting the cutting performance,and the wall thickness and truncated width are secondary factors.As the cone angle,wall thickness and truncated width increase,the cutting depth first increases and then decreases.The best truncated liner structure for a linear charge with a cross-section size of 40 mm×40 mm is"θ=80°,δ=1.3 mm,ω=6 mm",and the cutting depth for the 45#steel target at 40 μs is 32.5 mm.
