摘要

Abstract

To explore a suitable storage temperature for postharvest pepper(Capsicum annuum L.),extend the storage period of pepper,and further develop the pepper market.In this study,'Mingjiao No.10'pepper fruit was used as the experimental material,stored at 5,10,25,and 30℃respectively,under 90%RH,and 25℃as a control.The postharvest physiological indi-ces and main storage quality indices were determined every three days.The results showed that compared with the control group,pepper at 5 and 10℃maintained better fruit quality,while at 30℃,the fruit decay was accelerated.However,the cold injury symptoms such as skin pitting and Flesh Browning were easy to appear when stored at 5℃.Compared with the other storage groups,the pepper stored at 10℃had a better commercial rate,firmness,soluble solid content,lower decay index,lower respiration rate,and lower cell membrane permeability,delaying the aging process of the pepper.In summary,10℃is a suitable storage temperature for postharvest peppers.The results of this study provide a theoretical basis for postharvest pep-per fruit storage.
