八份甜糯双隐玉米自交系配合力及遗传参数分析
Analysis of the Combining Ability and Genetic Parameters of 8 Sweet-Waxy Double-Recessive Maize Inbred Lines

Abstract
To accurately evaluate the application potential and utilization direction of the new sweet-waxy double-recessive maize inbred lines and breed excellent sweet-waxy maize varieties,eight sweet-waxy double-recessive maize inbred lines(F1-F8)were used as test lines,and 18 waxy maize inbred lines(M1-M18)were used as testers.A total of 144 combinations were prepared using the incomplete diallel cross method.The combined ability and genetic parameters of 6 main ear traits,including yield per plant,ear length,and barren tip length,were analyzed.The results showed that,with the exception of the negative general combining ability(GCA)for barren tip length,all the other traits of F4(TN212)had positive effects,and its comprehensive performance was relatively good.The GCA for the yield per plant of F1(ZTN32),F2(TN1704),and F3(TN512)was relatively high,making them favorable for breeding high-yield combinations.The specific combining ability(SCA)of M11×F7(ZB102×TN441)for main traits is excellent,and it is associated with strong heterosis.The SCA for the yield per plant of M5×F2(BN211×TN1704),M16×F3(GN61×TN512),M14×F4(BN170×TN212),and M10×F8(M10×TN1043)was outstanding,indicating high yield potential.The broad-sense heritability and narrow-sense heritability of ear length,number of rows per ear,and yield per plant of 8 sweet-waxy double cryptic maize inbred lines were all greater than 50%.The broad-sense heritability of barren tip length and number of kernels per row exceeded 80%,which is much greater than their narrow-sense heritability.Both the broad-sense and narrow-sense heritabilities of ear diameter were lower than 50%.These results suggest that TN212 is a relatively ideal breeding material and can be utilized mainly in breeding practices.For ZTN32,TN1704,and TN512,the corresponding parental materials should be selected according to the breeding objectives for targeted utilization.Ear length,number of rows per ear,and yield per plant are suitable for selection in early generations.The barren tip length and number of kernels per row should be selected in the late generations.Ear diameter is suitable for selec-tion under multiple environmental conditions in the late generations.关键词
