Abstract
Cervical cancer,one of the most common malignant tumors among women worldwide,poses a serious threat to women's health.Currently,while various treatment options are available for cervical cancer and early-stage patients general-ly have favorable prognosis,patients with advanced disease may face recurrence and metastasis,leading to relatively poor treatment outcomes and prognosis.Research on cervical cancer has established the central role of persistent high-risk human papillomavirus(HPV)infection in its pathogenesis.Approximately 99.7％of cervical cancer cases are closely associated with persistent high-risk HPV infection,where HPV leads to malignant transformation of host cells through continuous ex-pression of viral proteins(E6 and E7 for example),ultimately deteriorating into cervical cancer.Given the close relationship between HPV infection and cervical cancer development,preventing and treating HPV infection is particularly important.In recent years,research on HPV therapeutic vaccines continues to advance,with some vaccines entering clinical trials and showing positive progress.In this paper,we reviewed the pathogenic mechanism of HPV and the latest progress in therapeu-tic vaccine research.关键词
