Abstract

In order to accelerate the improvement of soybean varieties in the Huang-Huai-Hai region,in this study,the yield and yield-related trait evolution trends of 112 state-approved soybean varieties in the Huang-Huai-Hai region of China from 2019 to 2023 were comprehensively analyzed.The results showed that the yield of summer-sowing soybean varieties bred in the Huang-Huai-Hai region from 2019 to 2023 showed an increasing trend in regional tests and production tests.The plant types were all convergent,and the pod-setting habits were mainly limited pod-setting habits.There was no significant change trend in the effective branching of the yield-related factors and the maturity stage was stable,but the plant height,the number of nodes in the main stem,and the number of grains per plant showed a significant downward trend,and the 100-grain weight showed a significant upward trend.The correlation analysis results indicated that there was a extremely significantly positive correlation between production test yield and 100-grain weight.Based on the above results,the yield of the state-approved soybean varieties in Huang-Huai-Hai region from 2019 to 2023 was mainly increased by increasing the 100-grain weight.From the perspective of improvement of soybean plant type for increase of yield,on the premise of maintaining uniform planting and high-density planting patterns,it was necessary to dedicate to optimize the stem structure of varieties with limited pod-setting habits,explore the potential for podding at the main stem nodes and stabilize the effective branching while maintaining resistance to lodging,and achieve improvement of soybean yield by enhancement of 100-grain weight and other means.
