Abstract

Rapid and accurate detection of acute myocardial infarction(AMI)can significantly enhance patient survival rates.While cardiac troponin I(cTnI)and myoglobin(MyO)serve as conventional biomarkers,miRNA(MicroRNA)has emerged as a crucial early diagnostic biomarker for heart attacks.However,current routine immunodetection methods,such as real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction(PCR),exhibit limited sensitivity and are time-consuming,hindering the achievement of high-sensitivity quantitative miRNA analysis.Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering(SERS)stands out as an exceptional fingerprint diagnostic technology,offering ultra-sensitivity,rapid response,and qualitative and quantitative analytical capabilities.In this study,the correlation between performance and modulation factors was explored through the manipulation of various morphologies of the noble metal Au.Leveraging the electromagnetic field enhancement and chemical enhancement mechanisms,we designed a simple and easily manufacturable efficient gold nanospheres(Au NSs)NSs SERS biosensing substrate.This substrate was successfully employed for the gradient concentration testing of miRNA,demonstrating remarkably low detection limits and high sensitivity.
