Abstract
Small-diameter logs,characterised by their small size and irregular morphology,result in processing difficulties and low utilisation rates.This study aims to maximise the application potential of small-diameter logs as structural components.Building on structural form generation through reciprocal operations of force polyhedrons in 3D Graphic Statics(3DGS),a"material-structure"grouping and matching strategy is implemented based on typological differences in force polyhedron dimensions.Furthermore,a multi-objective optimisation process is established,utilising genetic algorithms to iteratively optimise and achieve precise matching between material cross-sections and structural stress conditions.The proposed design method,which integrates structural efficiency and material properties,effectively addresses variations in the mechanical properties of raw logs.It enhances the efficiency and implementability of structural and morphological design,demonstrating significant potential to advance innovative applications of small-diameter log structures.关键词
