马齿苋提取物对文昌鸡生长性能、抗氧化能力和肠道屏障的影响
Effects of Portulaca oleracea extract on growth performance,antioxidant capacity,and intestinal barrier of Wenchang chickens

Abstract
The study aimed to investigate the effects of Portulaca oleracea extract on the growth performance,antioxidant capacity,and intestinal barrier of Wenchang chickens.Ninety one-day-old female Wenchang chickens were selected and randomly divided into three groups,with six replicates per group and five chickens per replicate.The control group(CON group)was fed with a basal diet,while the POL group and POH group were respectively supplemented with 0.2％and 0.4％Portulaca oleracea extract to the basal diet.The test period was 42 days.The results showed that compared with the CON group,the body weight on the 21st and 42nd days of age in the POL group was significantly increased(P＜0.05).From 1 to 21,22 to 42,and 1 to 42 days,the average daily gain was significantly increased(P＜0.05),and the feed to gain ratio was significantly decreased(P＜0.05).On the 21st and 42nd days,the total antioxidant capacity,superoxide dismutase,catalase,and glutathione peroxidase activities were significantly increased(P＜0.05),the malondialdehyde content was significantly decreased(P＜0.05).The activities of duodenal trypsin and lipase on the 21st and 42nd days were significantly increased(P＜0.05),the height of duodenal villi,velvet-hiding ratio,and expression levels of Claudin-1,Occludin,and ZO-1 on 42nd day were significantly increased(P＜0.05).The total clearance rate on the 21st and 42nd days and the pectoral muscle rate on the 42nd day were significantly increased(P＜0.05).The study shows that adding 0.2％Portulaca oleracea extract can improve the growth performance,enhance antioxidant capacity,digestive enzyme activity and slaughter performance,and strengthen the intestinal barrier function of Wenchang chickens.关键词
