Abstract
Yonghe Bridge in Tianjin is an important bridge crossing the Yongding New River on the Jinhan Highway.The main bridge is a concrete cable-stayed bridge with a span of 260 meters and a seismic fortification intensity of 8 degrees.The bridge was completed and opened to traffic in 1987,and was the largest cable-stayed bridge in Asia in operation nearly 40 years.In recent years,due to severe overloading,it might be used as a bridge for non motor-ized vehicles and pedestrian loads according to the latest maintenance plan.The bridge will be illuminated for land-scape lighting to enhance its cultural landscape value.Therefore,it is necessary to evaluate the bearing capacity and seismic performance of the bridge after functional changes.Based on the collected completion drawings and relevant maintenance data,a 3D finite element model of Yonghe Bridge was established by 2024 software of Midas Civil to simulate the stress state of the bridge during various construction and completion stages;Emphasis was placed on verifying cable forces,internal forces between the main beam and tower columns,reaction forces of the main beam supports,and the stiffness of the main beam;The dynamic analysis took into account the additional phase Ⅱ dead load during reinforcement.The calculation results show that the natural frequency and shape mode of the bridge are basically consistent with the original design;The bridge was evaluated based on the existing seismic design stan-dards and evaluation criteria to propose two renovation plans,which can provide strong support for maintenance de-cisions of the bridges.关键词
