Mechanical Characteristics and Linear Sensitivity Parameters of Cable-stayed Bridges With Combined Girders for High-speed Railways

Abstract
The pylon,not only bears the weight of the main girder bridge deck system transmitted by the stay cables but also withstand the bending moments caused by the bridge deck system loads,is the primary load-bearing com-ponent of a cable-stayed bridge.Therefore,taking a steel truss-concrete slab composite girder cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 320 m on a high-speed railway as an example,cable-stayed bridge models were established by Midas/Civil 2023 software,both considering and disregarding geometric nonlinearity.The impact of geometric non-linearity on the mechanical properties of the pylon was investigated during the construction process and in the com-pleted bridge state;Structural sensitivity analysis was conducted by parameters such as the main girder stiffness,tower stiffness,cable elastic modulus,initial tension of the cables,anchor point coordinates of the towers,and tower temperature to identify the primary parameters influencing the tower's linear shape.The research results indicate that geometric nonlinearity has more significant impact on the displacement at the top of the tower of large-span steel truss-concrete slab composite girder cable-stayed bridge.Namely,considering geometric nonlinearity in the com-pleted bridge state,the displacement at the tower top of this cable-stayed bridge increased by 40%.The dimensional normalization on parameters of the main beam stiffness was performed.The results indicate that the main beam stiff-ness,cable elastic modulus,and tower anchor point coordinates are the primary sensitive parameters;The longitu-dinal anchor point coordinates have the greatest influence on the displacement at the tower top,followed by the ver-tical anchor point coordinates,while the horizontal anchor point coordinates have almost no effect.关键词
