Abstract
Jizhou Kiln is a large-scale civilian ceramic kiln site in the Jiangnan region.It boasts profound historical signifi-cance and artistic value,with records and discussions about it throughout history making it a key subject for the study of Chinese ceramic history.This paper,based on documentary sources,systematically examines the artistic characteristics and historical evaluations of Jizhou Kiln products.The research reveals that the evaluation system of Jizhou Kiln products not only reflects innovation in craftsmanship but also mirrors the aesthetics of folk culture.The diverse narratives about"cut-ting off firing"in the literature reflect the impact of social changes on folk kiln art.This paper proposes further understand-ing of the historical appearance of Jizhou Kiln based on existing research foundations,providing theoretical insights for the revival of traditional crafts in contemporary times.关键词
