Progress of Tobacco Straw Biomass Resource Utilization and Analysis of Carbon Sink Potential in China
摘要
Abstract
As the overconsumption of fossil fuels leads to resource scarcity,the pollutants released during their combustion,such as carbon dioxide and sulfur compounds,exacerbate environmental pollution.Biomass resources,which fix carbon through photosynthesis,can help alleviate fossil fuel consumption and reduce net greenhouse gas emissions by facilitating the carbon cycle,thereby contributing to environmental protection.Tobacco stalks,a significant agricultural waste from tobacco cultivation,are an important biomass resource,and their development and utilization are gaining increasing attention.As the world's largest tobacco producer,China generates a substantial amount of tobacco stalks annually,and their effective use is crucial for promoting sustainable agricultural development.This article reviews the research progress on the utilization of tobacco stalk biomass resources in China,analyzes their carbon sink potential,and proposes corresponding strategies and recommendations,aiming to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the efficient use and development of carbon sink potential of tobacco stalk resources.关键词
