Abstract
Objective To analyze the application value of combined examination of superficial ultrasound and abdominal ultrasound in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis.Methods A total of 60 patients with suspected acute appendicitis admitted to Fenyi County People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects.All patients underwent superficial ultrasound and abdominal ultrasound examination,and the surgical pathological results were used as the gold standard.To observe and compare the detection,diagnostic results and efficacy of superficial ultrasound,abdominal ultrasound and the combined examination of the two in different disease types.Results Pathological examination:57 cases were positive and 3 cases were negative in 60 patients with suspected acute appendicitis.Superficial ultrasound examination:true positive in 51 cases,false positive in 2 cases,true negative in 1 case,false negative in 6 cases;abdominal ultrasound examination:true positive in 49 cases,false positive in 2 cases,true negative in 1 case,false negative in 8 cases;combined examination:56 cases were true positive,1 case was false positive,2 cases were true negative and 1 case was false negative;compared with superficial ultrasound and abdominal ultrasound,the accuracy and sensitivity of combined examination were higher(P＜0.05),but there was no significant difference in the diagnostic specificity of the three methods(P＞0.05).Among the 57 positive patients,there were 21 cases of simple appendicitis,16 cases of suppurative appendicitis,13 cases of gangrene and perforated appendicitis,and 7 cases of peripheral abscess appendicitis.There was no significant difference in the detection rate of various types of acute appendicitis among the three examination methods(P＞0.05).However,the combined detection rate of superficial ultrasound and abdominal ultrasound was higher than that of single examination(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combined examination of superficial ultrasound and abdominal ultrasound has high application value in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis,which can improve the diagnostic effect and optimize the detection of diseases.Meanwhile,it can provide a reliable basis for the follow-up diagnosis and treatment of diseases,and can be further studied and analyzed.关键词
