Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlations of vitamin D,cluster of differentiation 195(CD195),and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1)with Hashimoto's thyroiditis during the hypothyroid phase. Methods A total of 300 patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis treated at Zhengzhou Yihe Hospital Affiliated to Henan University from January 2021 to December 2023 were enrolled.According to thyroid function status,140 patients were assigned to the euthyroid group and 160 to the hypothyroid group. An additional 100 healthy individuals undergoing physical examination during the same period were included as the control group.Thyroid function indices, thyroid autoantibodies, and serum levels of 25(OH)D,CD195,and MCP-1 were compared among the three groups.Pearson correlation analysis was used to assess correlations between 25(OH)D,CD195,MCP-1 and thyroid function indices and antibodies.Multiple linear regression was performed to analyze these correlations after controlling for age, body mass index(BMI),and season. Results Free triiodothyronine(FT3)and free thyroxine(FT4)in the hypothyroid group were lower than those in the euthyroid and control groups(P<0.05),while thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH),thyroglobulin antibody(TGAb),and thyroid peroxidase antibody(TPOAb)were higher than in the euthyroid and control groups(P<0.05).Serum 25(OH)D in the hypothyroid group was lower than in the euthyroid and control groups(P<0.05),whereas serum CD195 and MCP-1 were higher than in the euthyroid and control groups(P<0.05).In patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis during the hypothyroid phase,25(OH)D was negatively correlated with TSH,TGAb,and TPOAb(P<0.05),while CD195 and MCP-1 were positively correlated with TSH,TGAb,and TPOAb(P<0.05).After controlling for age,BMI,and season,25(OH)D remained negatively correlated with TSH,TGAb,and TPOAb in patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis during the hypothyroid phase(P<0.05),and CD195 and MCP-1 remained positively correlated with these three indices(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis during the hypothyroid phase exhibit significantly decreased vitamin D and significantly increased serum CD195 and MCP-1.These factors are closely associated with thyroid function and autoantibodies and may play potential roles in the onset and progression of Hashimoto's thyroiditis during the hypothyroid phase.关键词
