Abstract
Objective To investigate the application effect of goal-oriented evidence-based nursing in children with pneumonia. Methods A total of 76 children with pneumonia admitted to Pingdingshan First People's Hospital from August 2022 to August 2024 were enrolled as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group(conventional nursing,n=38)and a study group(goal-oriented evidence-based nursing,n=38).Symptom relief, pulmonary function, sleep quality, and complication incidence were compared between the two groups. Results The durations of cough, wheezing, and fever relief were shorter in the study group than in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After nursing, forced vital capacity(FVC),peak expiratory flow(PEF),and maximal voluntary ventilation(MVV)levels increased in both groups, with higher levels observed in the study group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,Children's Sleep Habits Questionnaire total scores decreased in both groups, with lower scores in the study group than in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Implementing goal-oriented evidence-based nursing in children with pneumonia can promote symptom relief, improve pulmonary function and sleep quality, and reduce the incidence of complications.关键词
