Application of Defensive Navigation in Preventing Collisions Between Merchant Vessels and Fishing Vessels
摘要
Abstract
This paper explores the application value of defensive navigation in preventing collisions between merchant vessels and fishing vessels.Through a systematic analysis of the overall situation and typical cases of such collisions in China from 2010 to 2024,it focuses on examining the psychological and behavioral challenges during encounters between merchant vessels and fishing vessels,highlighting the critical impact of human factors on collision risks.Based on the principles of defensive navigation,a series of response strategies are proposed.This study emphasizes moving beyond the limitations of relying solely on rules and technical means and providing practical and proactive prevention strategies for merchant vessel seafarers,aiming to enhance the overall safety of maritime traffic.关键词
