A dataset of typical pollutant concentrations in solid environmental media in China
摘要
Abstract
As critical solid environmental matrices for pollutant accumulation and transformation,soils and sediments contaminated with heavy metals and antibiotics pose long-term threats to ecological environments and human health.Currently,pollution investigations and research concerning heavy metals and antibiotics tend to focus on specific regions,selected pollutants,and particular environmental media.To comprehensively understand the distribution and concentration of heavy metals and antibiotics across various provinces and municipalities in China,this dataset was compiled through systematic literature retrieval,data collation,and quality control assessment,integrating data from 1,445 relevant articles published between 2021 and 2024 to form a dataset of typical pollutant concentrations in solid environmental media in China.The dataset comprises 11,107 records,including 9,655 entries for heavy metals(zinc,copper,lead,chromium,cadmium,nickel,arsenic,and mercury)and 1,452 entries for antibiotics(encompassing sulfonamides,tetracyclines,quinolones,macrolides,β-lactams,and other categories).The dataset meticulously documents the concentration levels of various pollutants across different regions and environmental media,providing essential scientific data support for environmental pollution monitoring,risk assessment,and remediation strategies.It is broadly applicable to environmental science research,pollutant migration and transformation mechanism investigations,environmental risk assessment,and policy-making for environmental management.关键词
