Abstract
Antimicrobial peptides,as important component of the innate immune system,have broad-spectrum anti-pathogenic microorganism and immunomodulatory activities.The expression of porcine endogenous antimicrobial peptides exhibits breed differences and spatiotemporal specificity,and is regulated by factors such as nutrients,plant extracts,microorganisms,stress,and functional additives.Existing research indicates that β-defensins have both antibacterial and good stability properties,PR-39 has outstanding tissue repair and immunomodulatory abilities,and PG-1 can significantly inhibit multidrug resistant bacteria and viruses.This article reviewed the structure,biological functions,expression characteristics,and regulatory mechanisms of major porcine endogenous antimicrobial peptides(β-defensins,PR-39,and PG-1),aiming to provide references for the research on expression characteristics and regulation of porcine endogenous antimicrobial peptides.关键词
