Research Progress of Metabolomics Technology and Its Application in Farm Animals Genetic Breeding
摘要
Abstract
Metabolomics is the qualitative and quantitative analysis of all low molecular metabolites contained in a particular component of the organism,and the study of their dynamic changes under external intervention or specific physiological states.Metabolomics technology has been applied to the research of farm animals genetics,including the screening and evaluation of important phenotypic indicators,functional gene mining and molecular regulation mechanism analysis,disease diagnosis and breeding of resistant lines.In this paper,metabolome detection technology and data analysis and application methods and their research progress in genetic breeding of major farm animals species such as pigs,cattle,sheep and chickens were reviewed,and the future research trend was prospected,providing references for the application of metabolomics technology in the analysis of genetic mechanisms and breeding techniques of important traits in farm animals.关键词
