Research Progress on In Vitro Culture and Differentiation Induction of Spermatogonial Stem Cells in Sheep and Goats

Abstract
As important agricultural economic animals and biomedical models,sheep and goats play a significant role in the research on in vitro culture and induced differentiation of spermatogonial stem cells(SSCs),which is of great significance for the development of genetic breeding and reproductive medicine.However,this field currently still faces numerous challenges,including difficulties in long-term in vitro maintenance of SSCs,insufficient efficiency of isolation and purification technologies,unclear regulatory mechanisms of differentiation pathways,and the precision and safety of gene editing technologies.This paper systematically reviews the research progress in construction strategies of sheep and goat SSCs in vitro culture systems,induced differentiation methods,and their molecular mechanisms in recent years.Meanwhile,it discusses the potential applications of related cutting-edge technologies,providing a theoretical reference for optimizing the in vitro culture system of SSCs,improving differentiation efficiency,and expanding their applications in animal husbandry breeding and regenerative medicine.关键词
