Abstract
The paper analyzed the mechanism and effect of government green subsidies on the total factor productivity of ocean-related enterprises.The results provided implications and methods for the sustainable development of ocean-related enterprises and fishery economy.The paper firstly used LP and OP methods to measure the total factor productivity of sea-related enterprises.We then use fixed effect and intermediary effect models to analyze the impact of government green subsidies on the total factor productivity of sea-related enterprises during the period from 2008 to 2023.The empirical results showed that government green subsidies have a significant promoting effect on total factor productivity of ocean-related enterprises.The internal green innovation and external green supervision were influencing mechanisms.Moreover,government green subsidies havd a more significant impact on the total factor productivity of ocean-related enterprises with economic resource constraints and executives lacking green background.Therefore,the government should actively use green subsidies for sea-related enterprises,and increase subsidies for sea-related enterprises with constraints on economic resources and lack of green background for senior executives,so as to promote the construction of maritime power.关键词
