Innovative application and practical exploration of the theory of"syndrome differentiation and treatment"in higher education academic tutoring

Abstract
The application of traditional Chinese medicine's theory of"syndrome differentiation and treatment"in academic counseling for college students is of great significance for their career development.This article explores the challenges faced by universities in improving the quality of talent cultivation and educational level,particularly problems with regards to the academic performance of college students.The reasons for academic difficulties among college students not only include intellectual factors,but also involve various factors such as family,school,and society,etc.To address this challenge,the School of Life Sciences at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine has adopted the theory of"syndrome differentiation and treatment"to provide targeted academic counseling.By deeply analyzing the causes of academic difficulties and implementing precise assistance,the academic level of students has been effectively improved.This article elaborates on the specific application of the theory of"syndrome differentiation and treatment"in academic counseling,including the use of the four diagnostic methods to diagnose and treat academic difficulties,as well as the"treatment"methods of monarch,minister,assistant and envoy.By implementing basic treatment methods such as tonifying,harmonizing and warming methods,and combining the efforts of students themselves,peers,professional teachers,and parents,a collaborative implementation strategy has been formed to help students improve their academic performance.Discussions were held on the principles of dynamic syndrome differentiation,treating both the root cause and symptoms,and emphasizing individualized differences when conducting academic tutoring based on"syndrome differentiation and treatment".Summarized the innovation and deepening of the academic tutoring model based on"syndrome differentiation and treatment",providing reference for promoting the innovation and development of the higher education system.关键词
